The aerial includes a step-shaped indentation (17,18) on each side of a central section (14), whereby two further parallel indented sections (19,20) are formed. Initial indentations (12,13) are somewhat larger than those mentioned above, which gives a favourable influence on the bandwidth. The central non-indented sections of the slot edges consist of between 30% and 50% of the slot total length and preferably around 40%. The indented sections of the slot edges nearest the central non-indented sections comprise between 15% and 25% of the slot total length and preferably around 20%. The outermost sections which are indented towards the slot ends comprise between 5% and 15% of the slot total length and preferably around 10%. The arrangements provide for a lower limit frequency of 1.235 GHz and an upper limit frequency of 1.391 GHz. |
