FIELD: computer engineering, in particular, information input. SUBSTANCE: device has board for alphanumeric keys, board for function keys, and pattern which is applied over board of function keys. Pattern has cuts for keys and its surface is covered with labels and icons of commands. Pattern may be turned over in same way as loose-leaf calendar sheets. In addition pattern has identification label which is designed as bar code. Keyboard also has reading unit for reading code from pattern sheets.
