PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a stereoscopic birds-eye view including color topological image. SOLUTION: A display object area is decided based on information on coordinates of a display reference point position and a sightline direction angle outputted by an output means 2 such as a display reference point, etc., and topological image data 101 of the display object area, altitude data 102, and map element data 103 are read from a storage means 1 into an arithmetic processing means 3. And, the arithmetic processing means 3 calculates altitude values of each point belonging to the display object areas, and generates a color three-dimensional model based on the altitude values of each point for the topological data of the display object area, and further generates display element data having display position coordinates and display properties required for plotting also for the map element data of the display object area. And, the arithmetic processing means processes the three-dimensional model with a perspective transformation and also generates a stereoscopic map plotting data by allocating actual display colors based on the color information contained in the three-dimensional data and the display elements. |
