PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plotter device drawing an image which is easily viewed even if the image is drawn on a medium to be plotted, which has a pattern. SOLUTION: The device is provided with two CCD cameras 72 and 73 inputting picture data of the color and brightness of a plotting screen on paper and with an image data area 32 storing image data inputted by the CCD cameras 72 and 73. In such a case, the plotting color of the line image to be plotted is set based on image data stored in the image data area 32, and ink discharged from an ink head 5 is controlled in accordance with the plotting color which is set. |
