PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make inclinations in both edges of a wavelength of a reproducing signal steep and moreover symmetrical as much as possible. SOLUTION: A magneto-optical disk 1 is composed of a SiN backing layer 12, a reproducing layer 13, a control layer 14, a recording layer 15, a SiN intermediate layer 16, a first auxiliary layer 17, a second auxiliary layer 18, a third auxiliary layer 19 and a SiN protecting layer 20 which are provided on a substrate 11. The first auxiliary layer 17, the second auxiliary layer 18 and the third auxiliary layer 19 which are the magnetic field generating layer for generating a static magnetic field are provided in the opposite side to the substrate 11 of the recording layer 15 apart from the SiN intermediate layer 16.
