PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive tracer by blending liquid consisting of diethylene triamine pentacetic acid dissolved in sodium hydroxide in liquid having a tracer element consisting of either an iridium element or a rare earth element dissolved by nitric acid or hydrochloric acid, and keeping and then cooling pH of the blended liquid in a specific value. SOLUTION: Selected for a tracer element is each rare earth element of indium, lanthanum, samarium, europium, dysprosium, and holumium, these chloride or oxide marketing items are employed as material. Also, a diethylenetriamine pentacetic acid is used as a chelate agent for allowing the tracer element to be an anion compound. During blending both liquids, the concentration (pH) of hydrogen ion of the blended liquid is kept to 8 to subsequently be cooled. Tracer is poured in surface water or underground water in a boring hole, and water is collected at downstream side to pretreat testing water; following this, it is analyzed by the use of a researching atomic reactor before executing a quantitative detection of the tracer element. Thus, an inexpensive tracer can be obtained.
|
