PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat-shrinkable polyolefin film which is excellent in slipperiness even in its warm state just after heat-shrink wrapping and is excellent also in clarity and blocking resistance by compounding a polyolefin resin with a particulate silcone rubber having a specified rubber hardness and an average particle size. SOLUTION: A polyolefin resin (e.g. an ethylene homo- or copolymer or a proplylene homo- or copolymer) in an amount of 100 pts.wt. is compounded with 0.01-2 pst.wt. particulate silicone rubber having an average particle size of 0.5-8μm and a rubber hardness (Shore A) of 81-98 deg. and optionally a slip agent, a stabilizer, an antioxidant, an antistatic agent or the like. The resultant compsn. is mixed, is pelletized with a single- or twin-screw extruder, or the like, is formed into a sheet by a T-die or inflation method, is heated again to a temp. at which the sheet can be stretched, and is stretched in both the longitudinal and transverse direction, both by at least 3 times, thus giving a heat-shrinkable film. |
