摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly interpolate a positional increase shorter than a modulation wavelength of a magnetic field, by providing a first member including a scale element arranged along a measurement axis, a second member disposed adjacent to the first member to be movable relatively and a signal-generating processing circuit. SOLUTION: A multi-tap induced current position transducer 300 includes a scale member 310 movable to a read head 320. A plurality of magnetic flux modulators (scale element) 330 are arranged along a measurement axis 340 of the transducer 300 with a pitch of a wavelengthλto the scale member 310, having a width (d) in a direction perpendicular to the measurement axis 340. A sensing unit 350 is mounted to the read head 320 including a multi-tap receiver winding 400 within a magnetic flux region inside a transmitter winding 360. The multi-tap receiver winding 400 comprises a loop 410 of a plurality of receivers. The sensing unit 350 includes a signal-processing and controlling circuit 370 processing electric signals from the multi-tap receiver winding 400.
