PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice transmitter in which voice reproduction is not interrupted during transmission of voice data in real time while minimizing deterioration in sound quality without remarkable increase of a transmission speed of a communication path with respect to a baud rate of digital voice data. SOLUTION: An ADPCM encoder 2 converts a received analog voice signal into an ADPCM digital voice code. An S/P conversion part 3 converts a serial signal into a parallel signal in the unit of bytes. A code conversion section 4 detects it when a code being a subject of escape is included in the ADPCM data of the units of bytes, increases/decreases digital voice data by one and converts the result into a code being not a subject of escape, respectively. A transmission FIFO memory 5 stores sequentially ADPCM data. A P/S conversion section 11 converts the parallel data in the unit of bytes into a serial signal. A transmission section 12 sends the serial data to an opposite device as an infrared ray. |
