PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a slope of the natural ground and to grow the plants by a vegetation block by providing a water storage tank on a lower part of a vegetation part filled with vegetation soil, and automatically feed water to the vegetation soil through a capillary tube lifting device. SOLUTION: A vegetation block 1 is provided with a water storage tank 20 on a lower part of a vegetation part 10 through a partitioning plate 30. a pseudo stone pattern 12 is formed o a forward wall 11, other vegetation blocks 1 are stacked on a stage part formed on an upper edge 17, and back-fill is provided on a back wall 14 side to protect the slope and to grow the plants. In a capillary tube lifting device 40 arranged in the water storage tank 20, the outer part of a perforated pipe is covered with the fibrous material, sand is filled inside, and is communicated with the vegetation soil filled in the vegetation part 10 through the through holes provided in the partitioning plate 30. Water is obtained from the natural ground through back side holes 15 provided in the back side wall 14, enabling the water discharge, water supply, the check of the quantity of stored water in the water storage tank 20 through a diagonally through hole 13 in the forward wall 11. Water in the water storage tank 20 is automatically fed to the vegetation part 10 to grow the plants.
