DEVICE FOR PRODUCING HOT ASPHALT-CONCRETE MIXTURE

FIELD: motor-road building industry. SUBSTANCE: device can be used for construction of upper courses of motor road pavements. Installed between receiving unit of drying drum in device and drying drum itself is cone-shaped utilizing filter of crossing-counterflow type which contains heat exchanger in the form of truncated cone-shaped polyhedron. Fins of heat exchanger are of triangular configuration in their cross-section. Each side surface of polyhedron consists of lateral parallel flat strips which are separated by slots, and their cross-section is reduced towards base of cone. Strips are secured at angle of 20-45 deg. with respect to generating line of cone. Installed in upper part of cone-shaped utilizing filter is receiving unit of funnel configuration with cone-shaped divider located on axis of heat exchanger. Lower part of cone-shaped utilizing filter has collecting unit which is connected to inlet of drying drum. Heat exchanger is enclosed in gas-tight housing. Upper part of gas-tight housing is connected to aspiration system. Application of aforesaid device allows for saving power cost together with improvement of drying quality.
