METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SEPARATING BULK MATERIALS

FIELD: agriculture and other branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves periodically feeding basic material and horizontal air flow; collecting separation products. Basic material is supplied earlier than air flow by time interval equal to time during which basic material particles fall onto zone where basic material is blown with air flow. Apparatus has charging hopper and device for supplying air flow in horizontal plane. Device is mounted under charging hopper in fluid communication with fan. Vertical perforated plate positioned between fan and mentioned device is provided with drive for effectuating vibrational motions. Separation product receivers have partition walls. Air supply device has pack of horizontal nozzles. Partition walls of separation product receivers are curved so as to define horizontal pack in front of nozzles.
