PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for vulcanizing a tire which controls the generation of flash. SOLUTION: Projected stripe parts 2, 5 for forming grooves in the circumferential direction of a tire are formed on the tread surfaces 10, 40 of segments 1, 4. On the joining surfaces 11, 41 of the segments 1, 4, narrow grooves of radius in the tire axis direction are formed at positions at prescribed distances from the apexes of the projected stripe parts 2, 5 in the end surfaces of the projected stripe parts 2, 5 from the peripheries of the projected stripe parts 2, 5 toward the central line. |
