摘要 The feed roller, at a yarn texturizing machine, has two disks (25,26) each with a number of yarn guides (28,29) at the circumference. The disks (25,26) are axially opposite each other, and their yarn guides (28,29) are offset from each other and overlap to form a zigzag yarn path. The disks (25,26) have an axial movement, and at least one disk (26) is tilted by a tipper (43) so that the yarn guide (28,29) overlap only at a part of the circumference to form the zigzag yarn path. The first disk (25) is keyed to a drive shaft (27), and the second tilting disk (26) is keyed to the first disk (25) in a positive fit. The fixed disk (25) has a peripheral surface (30) where the yarn makes contact, with projecting yarn guides (28) on a plane round the circumference. The fixed disk (25) has a radial recess (31) at the peripheral surface (30) between neighboring yarn guides (28), on the side towards the tilting disk (26). When the second disk (26) is tilted, its yarn guides (29) fit into the recesses (31) at the fixed disk (25) so that the yarn guides deflect the path of the yarn into a zigzag track. The fixed disk (25) has a number of axial pins (36.1,36.2) to extend into facing recesses (37.1,37.2) at the tilting disk (26). The fixed disk (25) has a coaxial projecting hub (33), with the tilting disk (26) fitted round it on an elastic mounting (34). The tipping unit (43) is a magnet (38) to one side of the tilting disk (26), which is of a ferromagnetic material, to hold the disk (26) at an angle to the fixed disk (25). The angular pitch of the tilting disk (26) is determined by the position of the magnet (38), and the tilting disk (26) slides on a pole surface (42) of the magnet. The magnet (38) position is varied axially and parallel to the disk axis. The angular setting of the tilting disk (26) is also set by a limit stop (35) between the two disks (25,26). A narrow air gap (39) is between the magnet pole surface (42) and the tilting disk (26). When the magnet (38) is not energized, the disks (25,26) are parallel to each other, and their yarn guides (28,29) do not overlap.
