PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user with a more comfortable environment by not controlling an air conditioner based on the room temperature near the user, but based ion the body surface temperature of the user which varies depending the state of a wind, the humidity, and the moving state of the user. SOLUTION: A remote controller 2 arranged near a user has a dummy human body 3 which incorporates a heating element 6 to control the inside of the body 3 to a prescribed temperature and is coated with an outer shell 3b having nearly the same coefficient of thermal conductivity and specific heat as a human body has and a dummy cloth 4 of the same kind as that of the cloth worn by the user so that the temperature at the surface 3a of the dummy human body 3 may show the same behavior as the body surface temperature of the human body does. The controller 2 controls the operational condition of an air conditioner based on the temperature at the surface 3a. |
