The component - a switch, control electronics etc. - has a covering made of plastics (18) for its parts supplied with electricity. The covering (18) has an overlay (21) made of an electrically conductive material. It is in contact with an electrically conductive component which on one side adjoins the overlay (21) elastically and is connected, on the other side, with the appliance housing (11) in a conductive manner.
