Processing of biomass from biological processes giving products useful in e.g. cultivating organisms

A process is claimed for the utilization of waste from biological processes using microorganisms in the preparation of extracts and also for the reduction in the amount of produced waste by converting cell constituents into soluble form. The process is effected under conditions of low salt content.
