摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a desired fuel flow rate by providing a fuel injection valve with a slit nozzle hole with a flat section in the direction perpendicular to the fuel injecting direction, and setting a height of the nozzle hole section on an almost central part in the flattening direction of the nozzle hole higher than that at both ends in the flattening direction. SOLUTION: In a fuel injection valve 7, the high pressure fuel is supplied to a fuel reservoir 7b when a valve element 7a is drawn up, and the fuel pressure in the fuel reservoir 15 is increased to inject the fuel from a nozzle hole 8. An outside opening of the nozzle hole 8 has the shape of a slit having a width (w) in the flattening direction larger than a height (h1) on the flat section. The nozzle hole 8 injects the fuel at a specific angleθin the width direction, the width of the nozzle hole 8 has the almost sector-shape which is gradually narrowed inwardly, and a through hole 8a with a circular section, is formed on a central part in the width direction of the nozzle hole 8. By making a diameter (h2) of this through hole 8a larger than the height (h1) of the nozzle hole 8, the height (h2) of the central part is higher than the height (h1) of both ends at the outside opening of the nozzle hole 8.
