PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely fuse low melting point metal in a conductor contact part. SOLUTION: A covered electric wire connecting method has a first process in which a ground wire is stacked on a shield electric wire 1 so as to cross each other, the stacked part is interposed between upper and lower resin chips 13, 14, the protrusion 7a of a horn 7 is inserted into a through hole 13b, a first ultrasonic vibration is conducted to melt and remove the covers 1d, 2b of both wires in the stacked part, and a second process in which low melting point metal 15 and a resin small piece 16 are arranged from through hole 13b in the contact part of a braid 1c exposed after the cover is melted and removed and a core wire 2a, and second ultrasonic vibration is conducted to fuse the low melting point metal and to braze the contact part. |
