PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily remove or reduce color blurring caused by overlay synthesis in which a part of a main image signal is replaced with a specific image signal. SOLUTION: An image processing circuit has a signal switch means 5 which switches and selects either a first video signal serving as a main image signal and a second video signal having a specific image signal, a specific signal detection means 2 which detects a specific image signal position in the second video signal, and a delay means 4 whereby the second video signal inputted to the signal switch means is delayed relative to the second video signal inputted to the specific signal detection means 2, and the timing lag of the switching action of the signal switch means 1 with respect to the specific image signal is corrected by the delay means 4. |
