The purpose of the present invention is to provide a microwave oven container in which the gap between the flange section and the lid into which the contents can enter can be made narrow while maintaining the function of automatically discharging steam. This microwave oven container is provided with: a container body (21); a flange section (30) that is formed in a flared shape on the opening (22) of the container body (21); and a heat seal section (40) that is formed as a rib over the entire circumference of the upper surface of the flange section (30). The heat seal section (40) comprises: seal-opening parts (41), which are formed so as to open roughly in a V-shape toward the opening; steam-discharging parts (42), which are formed so as to open outward roughly in a V-shape; and circular parts (43), which are formed along a reference line (L). The paired ends that are on the outside of the steam-discharging parts (42) are disposed outside of the reference line (L) and are connected to the ends of the circular parts (43) via paired slanted parts (45). The circular parts (43) are disposed at positions that are less than 50 pcnt of the width of the flange section (30) from the opening. |
