PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To scroll a display optimally according to the distance and road attributes of a destination when scrolling the display along a recommended route. SOLUTION: The road of a display 230 is smoothly scrolled along a recommended route that is searched by a path-searching device 380. In this case, as the distance to the destination is longer, the scroll time on the way is reduced to guide a recommended route efficiently to a user even if the destination is far away. Also, the scroll speed is variably controlled according to the attributes of a road. For example, at a high-speed road where a route is clear, the scroll speed is increased, thus reducing time and achieving an efficient guide. On the other hand, at a complex, narrow street, the scroll speed is slowed, thus enabling a user to refer to a map in detail. |
