PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire for preventing or suppressing the occurrence of partial abrasion (heel and tow abrasion). SOLUTION: In a neumatic tire being equipped with lengthwise grooves 1 and 2, extending in the peripheral direction of a tire, or in a direction to the peripheral direction tilted at a relatively a small angle to the axial direction, a lateral groove 3, arranged in the peripheral direction at intervals, and extending in the axis direction of the tire or a direction tilted at a relatively small angle to the axial direction, and many main blocks 5, formed at intervals in the peripheral direction by the grooves 1, 2 and 3, and being formed of a directional block pattern, wherein the rotation (normal rotation) direction D at the time of mounted on a vehicle is designated, on a tread, auxiliary blocks 8 slender in the lengthwise direction are formed adjoining the axial direction outer or inner side of the main blocks 5 via the narrow groove 7 of a width of about 0.1-2.0 mm, and a tread pattern is provided where the width of the extended side of the blocks 8 is larger than the width of trodding side. |
