PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a glass-reinforced plastic molding product excellent in characteristics such as water-resistance, boiling water resistance and mechanical properties. SOLUTION: One or more kinds of metathesis-polymerizable cycloolefin-based compounds are polymerized and molded with a mat-like glass fiber or a preform-like glass fiber in the presence of a metathesis polymerization catalyst to provide a glass fiber-reinforced plastic molding product, in the method for producing the glass-reinforced plastic molding product. An Ru carbene catalyst is preferably used as the metathesis catalyst.
