PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance tip life by positively deburring a worked holes, by appropriately setting chamfering width, and by providing burnishing without damaging the inner wall of a worked surface. SOLUTION: This tip uses the two sides of the nose part of a nearly equilateral triangular plate-like deburring tip as a deburring edge 8. A side rakeαof a face 10 of the deburring edge 8 forms a positive angle in the range of 10-20 degrees. The side 4 has an positively angular clearance angle of 5-20 degrees at a flank. The nose part forms a chamfering face 11 at the extremity of the face 10. The second side 14 holding a burnishing tooth 12 forms the flank of the burnishing face 12. The rake angleγof the burnishing tooth is set to a negative angle in the range of 30-60 degrees. The clearance angleδof the burnishing tooth is set to a positive angle in the range of 1-3 degrees.
