PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording apparatus in which a memory element of an ink cartridge and a control part of a printing means are arranged in a noncontact state to deliver information. SOLUTION: An ink cartridge 200 has a memory element 300 which can record an information related to an ink. The memory element is set in an electrically noncontact state to a control part 131 so that the control part can deliver the information provided from the memory element and control a printing means. A recording head 113 and the ink cartridge 200 are constituted to be movable together at the printing means 130, and fixed to the printing means 130. |
