FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: described is adhesive based on polyvinyl acetate emulsion which is effective for bonding decorative melaminoformaldehyde resin treated solid color paper and with pattern of pressed wood. Adhesive based on polyvinyl acetate emulsion is made by using polyvinyl alcohol with higher adhesiveness, comprising mixture of polyvinyl alcohol, boric acid and phosphoric acid of starch, adhesiveness-increasing agent, and binding agent selected from group consisting of titanate, zirconium aluminate of gamma-glycidoxypropyl trimethoxysilane, gamma-aminopropyl triethoxysilane, amino group modified ether of organic silane, or mixtures thereof. EFFECT: elimination of cracking owing to strain, elimination of wrinkling and butt end and angular delamination which occurs when sheets of melamine resin treated-paper move over upper and lower surfaces of pressed wood sheets through heating and pressing zone. 26 cl, 29 tbl |
