FIELD: sorption systems for cooling and freezing equipment. SUBSTANCE: reaction sorption system has one or more first reactors and one or more second reactors wherein refrigerant is adsorbed or desorbed, respectively. Cooling circuit passes liquid coolant to or from mentioned reactors. Coolant is supplied to adsorbing reactor in liquid-to-gas phase transition state at temperature equal to or lower than adsorption temperature in adsorbing reactor. Adsorbent in adsorbing reactor comes in thermal contact with coolant; evaporated coolant is used for displacing liquid coolant to cooling circuit. Refrigerant may be used as liquid coolant. Apparatus implementing this method is given in description of invention. EFFECT: provision for eliminating heat transfer to atmosphere caused by temperature drop of sorbent. 76 cl, 15 dwg
