<p>A pumping device includes a tubular member and a piston reciprocatingly received in the tubular member, the piston together with the tubular member defining a chamber. A head is securely, sealingly mounted to an end of the tubular member. The head includes a compartment defined therein and in fluid communication with the chamber of the tubular member. An elastic nozzle is securely mounted in the compartment and includes a through hole for receiving a valve of a bicycle tire. The elastic nozzle further includes a recessed clamping section defined in an inner periphery thereof for securely clamping the valve during reciprocating motion of the piston in the tubular member.</p> |
