Communication system using multiple terminals

The communication system is of specific use for information and management of commercial, military or other security relevant areas. The system is in the form of a network of distributed software controlled communication terminals. The terminals are linked by either a wired or non wired means and are arranged in a hierarchical structure. The system has an access level with central access nodes for handling data exchanges, with the nodes having redundant computer modules.
