The invention concerns a device for inserting a material strip in a wiping material dispensing apparatus, comprising a housing (1), a cover (3), the housing having flanges (2) supporting a reel stand (4), a drum (5) with cutting device (6), the drum including an eccentric member (7) associated with a releasing and return spring (8), a protective flap (9) being arranged in front of the drum (5), a pinch roller (10) resting on the drum (5). The invention is characterised in that the protective flap (9) has in upper extension a support frame (11) designed to receive a secondary articulated flap (12) and the pivoting sectional plate (15) is arranged at the drum (5) and capable of receiving in support the service roll (RS) when it is nearly finished, and said plate (15) co-operates with a mechanism (14 17) for locking the secondary flap (12) when the reserve roll (RR) is being loaded and setting in place the service roll (RS) so that it can be finished. |
