PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave oven which is free of the adjustment for the latch switch fitting position and capable of preventing the contact changeover of the latch switch, even if a door is opened a little. SOLUTION: In a microwave oven, when a door 2 is opened, a rotating lever 14 is rotated by the energizing force of a spring 15, as well as a movable part 10a of a latch switch 10 is rotated while being pushed by an energizing part of a spiral spring 19. When the latch switch 10 is locked with a stopper 13b, the rotating lever 14 is separated from the movable part 10a, and thereafter the rotating lever 14 is separated from a movable part 12a of a monitor switch 12.
