PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the assembling and prevent an inner cable from being slipped out from a swivel when the inner cable is loosened even if a play is present between the inner cable and the swivel by providing an opening for inserting a locking disc to an engaging groove and a slit conformed to a guide groove on a cap. SOLUTION: A radial guide groove 18 conformed to the slits 4, 5 of a cap 2 are provided on the head part 14 of a swivel 12. A broad engagement groove 19 is provided on the center part of the guide groove 18 of the head part 14 to engage with a locking disc 22 in such a manner as to be axially movable. The engagement groove 19 is naturally deeper than the guide groove 18. When an inner cable 21 is engagingly locked to a swivel 12, the inner cable 21 is engaged with the guide groove 18 through the slit 4 simultaneously with the pushing of the locking disc 22 into the engagement groove 19 of the swivel 12 through an opening 3. Although the locking disc 22 is axially movable within the engagement groove 19, the form of the opening 3 is conformed to the locking disc 22, so that the locking disc 22 is never slipped out if no force as pushes up the locking disc 22 acts thereon.
