The operating method uses transfer of data between a measuring station (1) transported with the patient (18) and one of a number of spaced evaluation stations (5,6,7,8), each provided with a specific identification logged in the memory of the measuring station upon a data communication link being established. The stored identification is transferred to the new evaluation station when the measuring station is moved to a new location and checked with an acceptance list before the data communication link with the new station can be established.
