With the ladder, no lever effect can occur through an extending front edge. A clip closure or similar is used, which makes possible the assembly of the ladder constituents. Wooden boards are inserted in slotted tubes (the boards can also be of plastic, aluminum or other metal). Screws penetrating the struts crossways prevent the rails from slipping outwards. A metal band or similar is formed on the complete step width around the strut (front/rear edge) and then riveted. The step surfaces are welded or otherwise connected with four sockets. The inserted tubes forming the rotary point are firmly connected with the rails. Through the clip closure the individual ladders can be used separately.
