PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent circuit elements from being damaged at overvoltage generation, such as power supply breaking, during the operation of a chopper circuit for traveling, and improve reliability. SOLUTION: This equipment consists of a battery 1, motors 5, 15, and chopper circuits of chopper transistors 8, 16 for the motors. When an overvoltage due to power supply breaking or the like during the operation of the chopper circuit for traveling is detected, the transistor 8 for chopper is stopped at once, and the transistor 16 for chopper is turned into a state of electrical continuity. Generated energy is consumed by the motor 15 and an overvoltage is suppressed, thereby protecting circuit elements. |
