SOLUTION: Provided are a survey rod 102 which a movable rod part 102b is attached turnably in horizontal direction at the lower end of survey rod body 102a, a camera 103 attached for observing inside to the movable rod part so as to photographing the front under the condition where the movable rod part 102b has turned in horizontal direction, a pair of laser oscillators 105 arranged on both sides of the camera for observing inside so that the laser beam emits in parallel along the light axis of the camera foe observing inside, an operation means 2 operating the distance to the distance measuring object, based on the image information photographed with the camera for observing inside.
