The windscreen wiper carries a flexible cleaning scraper (10) comprising of a flexible cleaning blade (12), with the upper part of the blade (14), fitted with a longitudinal rigid section. The wiper blade carries an aerodynamic deflector (32), which extends over the length of the cleaning blade. The deflector is linked to the cleaning blade by a linking cross section (26), which, in turn, carries a longitudinal plate (30), which supports and strengthens the deflector.
