Container crate for storing maturing wine bottles comprises base runners and retractable door

The metal container crate is open in its upper part and has at its base runners (7) which raise it from the ground. It has a retractable door (3) in one of its walls enabling access to the bottom. In its opposite wall are further runners which enable it to tip once the crate has been filled with bottles in order to adopt an inclined position for the maturing of the wine. A grille (6) can penetrate inside the crate to the bottle loading level so that the bottle necks are inside the grille reticules. The grille and the door are locked by catches (9) held by a spring.
