WAGON FOR LOADING, TRANSPORTING AND UNLOADING OF LONG RAILWAY RAILS

A rail-laying wagon (1) for loading, transporting and unloading long railway rails (5) is equipped with wagon frames (3) supported on rail travelling mechanisms (2) and with rail supports (6) which run perpendicularly to the wagon longitudinal direction and are equipped with rollers (9) provided for storing the long railway rails (5). These rollers are designed as flanged rollers (9) with a flange (14) arranged at at least one of the ends and with distant plates (13) vertically arranged therebetween. Each long railway rail (5) is provided with two, in a vertical direction of the wagon arranged and mutually spaced rollers (9), which rollers (9) form a roller pair (15). The flange (14) is always provided at the end that is opposite to mutually adjacent ends (16) of the roller pair (15).
