PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microminiature motor with a reduced outside diameter, which is capable of preventing deflections of a rotary shaft and portable equipment using it. SOLUTION: An end plate 20 is installed at one open portion of a cylindrical housing 11, not more than 6 mm in outside diameter, and a first bearing 14 for supporting a rotary shaft 16 and a brush 22 for supplying a cylindrical rotor coil 18 with power are installed thereto. A mounting portion 111 for mounting a support rod 13 is formed at the other end of the housing, and a cylindrical magnet 12 for driving a rotor coil is installed on the support rod. On the same axis as that of the support rod, the rotary shaft is axially supported by a second bearing 15 on the side of the open portion of the support rod, and the rotor coil 18 and a commutator piece 19 which is connected electrically with the coil are fixed by means of a rotor coil supporting section 17 secured on the rotary shaft, and a rotor 2 is formed.
