Coupler has two coupler parts (7,8) with end surfaces (9,10) at a distance from an ideal central rotary separation surface (11). Each part has an inner chamber connected to hollow chamber of external hollow conductor connector parts. The chambers form an end surface rotary coupling for electromagnetic waves. Light conductors are mounted in chambers concentric with rotation axes of coupler parts. Ends of conductors form a rotary coupling for light waves. An independent claim is also included for an interface with an optical rotary coupler. |
