PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator for a motor, wherein the winding spaces of its stator core can be used effectively. SOLUTION: In a stator of a motor, there are provided a stator core 5, coils 25 wound around magnetic poles 6 of the stator core 5, and insulation sheets 20, each of which is interposed between the stator core 5 and the coil 25 and has both its ends protruded from the end surface of the stator core 5. Furthermore, in each insulation sheet 20, a bent protrusive portion 22 or a slit portion is formed along the direction of its height.
