PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a current collecting system wherein a feeder line is divided and laid, a current collector installed in a mobile gets out of the feeder line, and then smooth connection with the next feeder line is enabled. SOLUTION: In this current collecting system, a current collector is brought into contact with a feeder line 101 installed in the running region of a mobile, and the mobile receives necessary power from the feeder line 101 via the current collector. The feeder line 101 is of a pipe type in which a slit 102a stretching lengthwise is formed, and has a structure provided with a feeder line main body 102 with which the current collector of the mobile comes into contact through the slit 102a, and a guide part formed on the upper stream end of the feeder line main body 102, in the running direction of the mobile. The guide part guides the current collector moved toward the feeder line 101 by a current collector drive mechanism to the slit 102a of the feeder line main body 102, in accordance with running of the mobile.
