PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity and maintenance and inspection properties. SOLUTION: This spotlight is provided with a cylindrical upper body 4 accommodating optical parts such as a discharge lamp 1 such as a metal halide lamp, a reflecting mirror 2 and lenses 3; and a lower body 7 accommodating electric parts such as a semiconductor inverter electronic ballast 5 for driving the discharge lamp 1 and an air fans 6. The lower body 7 is detachably mounted on the lower plane of the upper body 4, with a top opening. The lower body 7 is fixed by a screw 8 from inside the upper body 4.
