FIELD: paint- and-varnish industry, particularly, manufacture of oil-base paints for external and internal work. SUBSTANCE: method of preparing dispersant of pigments for organodiluted paint-work materials by reaction of amine- containing compound with film-forming material. Amine- containing compound is diethanol amine-boric acid condensation product, and film-forming material is vegetable oil, and process is carried out at 180-200 C, ratio of components is as follows: diethanolamine-boric acid condensation product, 29.0-30.0; and vegetable oil, the balance. EFFECT: wider range of home produced dispersants of pigments for organodiluted paint- work materials. 2 tbl
