PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL, ITS MANUFACTURE, AND CERAMIC PASTE USED FOR IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PDP(plasma display panel) where strength of a barrier rib is not decreased even if width of the barrier rib is reduced. SOLUTION: In the PDP, a plurality of rows of address electrodes 11 are formed on a substrate 10 with a given interval and a plurality of ceramic barrier ribs 17 are formed between these address electrodes 11. A ceramic insulating layer 18 for coating the address electrodes 11 is formed on the substrate 10 integrally with the ceramic barrier ribs 17. Thickness of the ceramic insulating layer 18 on the upper surface of the address electrodes 11 is set 0-20μm.
