PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a vehicle during high-speed traveling to transmit effectively utilizable information on vehicle to the other vehicle by securing an accommodatable number of vehicles without disturbing communication in inter- vehicle communication. SOLUTION: Radio communication equipment loaded on the vehicle incorporates a microcomputer. The microcomputer inputs the traveling state data of the vehicle such as an inter-car distance, a present position, a vehicle direction, a traveling speed V and the signals of whether or not a brake is stepped on, etc., in steps 102 and 104 and calculates a transmission cycle Td to be shorter as the traveling speed V becomes higher in the step 106. Then, by the processing of the steps 108-120, the information relating to the vehicle such as a traveling state or the like is transmitted in the transmission cycle Td. Thus, the information relating to the vehicle is transmitted in a short transmission cycle when the vehicle travels at a high speed and the information relating to the vehicle is transmitted in a long transmission cycle when it travels at a low speed.
