PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the manufacturing costs of a dehumidifier and its price by equipping a blast path near an outlet with a heater, and by providing an automatic operation mode for operating the heater according to the detection temperature of a heat-exchange sensor during automatic operation. SOLUTION: A heater 14 being provided between a blast fan 11 and an outlet 6 consists of, for example, an electric heater with approximately 400 watts, and further heats dry air for blowing off into a room. A heat-exchange sensor 15 detects the temperature of an evaporator 9, and sends a signal to a control part 16. A humidity sensor 17 that is provided between the evaporator 9 and a filter 8 and detects the humidity of suction air sends the signal to the control part 16. When blow-off temperature is 12 deg.C or more, operation is continued by the heat-exchange sensor 15 until the heat-exchange temperature of the evaporator 9 is continuously 0 deg.C or less for 20 minutes. When the conditions are met, the heater 14 starts operating, and the conduction of the heater 14 is stopped if room temperature and the temperature of the suction air are increased, or humidity in the room is decreased by dehumidification and hence a compressor stops operating. |
