PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the drop and deterioration of an active material caused by the volume change of an electrode roll at the time of charging/discharging, prevent the deformation caused by an external shock and make the can lightweight. SOLUTION: This secondary battery is provided with an electrode roll 2 wound with a positive electrode, a separator and a negative electrode together, caps 10, 100 which are electrode roll fixing members storing part of the electrode roll 2, and a lightweight case 14. The fixing members are preferably made of any one selected from polypropylene, polyethylene, polyvinylidene fluoride, Teflon, stainless steel, nickel-plated iron, nickel and aluminum. |
